Mantrailing is a low impact, high focus sport that is fully inclusive for all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Our regular group services are designed to give your dog an incredible mental workout while building a brilliant partnership at both ends of the lead.

Weekly Mantrailing Sessions

Our weekly classes are standard group progression sessions held in a variety of urban and rural locations across Lancashire. To ensure every single team stays safe and successful, we only work one dog at a time.

Whilst one team is out trailing, the other dogs rest comfortably in their vehicles. This strict structure makes our group classes the absolute perfect environment for reactive, nervous, or easily distracted dogs. They get to enjoy Mantrailing completely away from the stress of other dogs. In these sessions, everyone takes turns trailing, spectating, and playing the "missing person" for each other.

Mantrailing Introductions

Never trailed before? We make starting out incredibly simple. Instead of making you wait for a rare weekend slot, your Introduction is easily slotted right into one of our regular weekly group sessions. You will get dedicated focus to fire up your dog's drive with hunting trails, learn basic line handling, and experience how a live session runs.

Prerequisite: None! Open to all dogs, including puppies and older dogs.

Price: £35

Level and Progression Assessments

Ready to officially put your skills to the test? Our Progression Assessments are structured milestones designed to evaluate your teams accuracy, line mechanics, and dog reading capabilities under a set of specific criteria. These sessions provide a brilliant opportunity to validate your training, earn your official level badges, and clearly map out your next steps as a handler.

Price: £40 per assessment

Specialised Workshops and Events

Alongside our weekly classes, we regularly host intensive, standalone workshops and masterclasses. These half and full day events run frequently throughout the year, and are aimed at those wishing  to advance and improve skills or are just addicted to Mantrailing!

These sessions are designed to dive deep into specific technical elements of the sport, such as urban trailing, distance, complex decision making, double blinds, split starts, casting, handling complex distractions, or working through advanced scent discrimination problems. 

Each of the trails are tailored to the individual team and if you are working towards any of the progression badges or levels available, we can accommodate those in these sessions too!

You can be certain to challenge and improve upon your skills in one of our friendly and fun workshops!

Booking: These events are scheduled throughout the year and are open to teams who have completed their initial introduction.
